Recounts a conversation with Fr O'Carroll shortly before his death in which he remarked '"I have a large sum of money in the Bank of Ireland...I want to place a sum of £4,000 on deposit receipt in my own name and that of either Fr Dillon or Fr Shuley of Mungret so as to lessen the sum which will be to my credit if I die...if I die the money is to be drawn and given to the Apostolic School Mungret".'
